stuck with nm-cue-ec and a 2851

Hi,

I read so much stuf in the last weeks and still have no idea how to get the nm-cue-ec running on a Cisco 2851 router.

I can access the web interface of Unity Express and this ask for a username password to initialize the system. All commands I found to configure a username for that faild because the commands are unknown.

IOS is ipvoice 12.4-24 T6 and it seems that the CUE is running version 3.0

Callmanager is Version 7.1.3

Is there a different IOS needed?

interface Service-Engine1/0

ip unnumbered GigabitEthernet0/0

service-module ip address 10.10.10.21 255.255.255.0

service-module ip default-gateway 10.10.10.22

!

ip route 10.10.10.21 255.255.255.255 Service-Engine1/0

Anyone has an idea how to upgrade CUE or get into it?

any help is welcome...

Eike

Hi Eike

Have you tried using the "service-engine" exec command on the 2851? You should be able to use this to run a local session onto the service module itself. From there, you should be able to define a new admin account, or even completely wipe and reimage the CUE module.

"service se1/0 session"
