Hello
I'm trying to setup a transcoder with Call Manager 6.1, but i have an issue when i try to setup the dspfarm-profile, in the maximun session the router doesn't have resources left. but the router has 64dsp install:
PVDM Slot 0:
64-channel (G.711) Voice/Fax PVDMII DSP SIMM PVDM daughter card
Also i have:
ontroller T1 0/1/0
framing sf
linecode ami
ds0-group 0 timeslots 1-24 type e&m-wink-start
!
controller T1 0/1/1
framing sf
linecode ami
ds0-group 0 timeslots 1-24 type e&m-wink-start
The card are consuming only 48 dsp.
The version of the IOS: c3825-spservicesk9-mz.124-15.T3.bin
What could be the issue?
Thanks

I would start by verifying that you've determining how many dsp resources you have available then go from there. Remember every 16 MB of pvdm memory equals to one DSP. More than likely if you're short of DSP resources you'll need to add another PVDM or increase the memory (replace).
If you type "show voice dsp group all". Find amount of "num_of_sig_chnls_allocated" make sure that the value of the channels allocated on at least one of your DSP resources is set to 0 (meaning its free/available to use). I've pasted an output from my router. On DSP 7 and DSP8 of my router, you'll see that 0 channels are used. (BOLD TEXT)

Always a nice idea to start by checking if you really have free resources, also notice that depending on which codecs you enable under the dspfarm the dsp channels requirements might go up really quick and the sessions will go down.

Only select the codecs you really need to XCODE.
