Transfer Hunt Pilot busy to Unity call handler IVR greeting

I have been trying to forward the a Hunt pilot to a call handler greeting but have not been able to and keep getting the default unity greeting played. Need some assistance in getting this working.

Here is what I've done

Hunt Pilot - 4500 (Has 1 member)

If the Hunt is not answered or if no members available then it will forward to 4545

4545 is configured as a DN to a CTI route point which has the forward all to VM option ticked

On Unity 4545 is configured as a call handler

When calling 4500 with no logged in members I get the default unity message played. But when I call 4545 directly I get the call handlers personal message playing.

How can I get the personal greeting of 4545 to play when calling 4500 with no logged in agents.

You shouldn't have to re-route the call to a CTI route point, but simply configure the final forwarding fields in the hunt pilot to send the call to the VM pilot. Then, again, you may have a very good reason for doing so. Regardless...

In Unity Connection, if you want a forwarded call to hit a Call Handler you will want to set up a Forwarded Call Routing Rule to match the original dialed number (the hunt pilot number) and have the rule send the call to the Call Handler.

Thank you for that.

I have just made the changes as suggested and created a forwarding rule in Unity but this did not make any difference, it still goes to the default unity call handler message.

Then I created a VM Pilot and forwarded the call to that with a forwarding rule and the call does not reach unity at all, it just says the caller is not available and hangs-up.

Just a correction on that.

It is now working, adding the forwarded routing rule in unity fixed it. I added it as forwarding station with the hunt pilot number.

Not to be nosy, but can you tell me why are you doing the CTIRP step between the Hunt Pilot and Unity Connection, rather than just putting the Unity Connection pilot number in the final forwarding fields on the Hunt Pilot itself? I'm curious to find out if you have used this to circumvent some other problem or setting. (I am always on the lookout for new UC magic.)

thank you, I fixed it, but I forwarded to mailbox.

Advise you to create your own post instead of asking your questions, that besides all is off topic to the OP, on a 4 year old post that is marked as solved, as that would get you more attention from the community and with that likely yield you better help.
