Hello,
I inherited a lab system than contains a CUCM/UCCE solution.
The CUCM is composed of a publisher and two subscriber nodes, and the UCCE is a duplex installation. All VMs in the same subnet.
The UCCE Peripheral Gateways for both PG1A and PG1B are set to use the publisher IP address of the CUCM. Thus, when there is a failure of the publisher node, the system becomes unavailable.
What is the best practice for configuring the PGs in this environment? Should PG1A be set to sub1 node and PG1B be set to sub2 node? Is it just as simple as changing the IP address on the current PG records?

Corrective action was to simply update the PGs to the subscriber node IP addresses. No other changes needed.
