We are about to make a refresh upgrade from the current UCCX 9.0.2 (HA) to the latest 11.6 version. We have the 11th upgrade licenses and additional 11th licenses bought. I'd like to have all those licenses files downloaded from the Cisco License Manager before the version switch to avoid any service outage. But all those UCCX licenses are being linked to the certain server's License MAC. I have it for our current 9 version.
1) Is that UCCX License MAC address going to be changed after the refresh upgrade to 11.6 and then version switch to 11.6? (It's the VM on the UCS, and it will not be reinstalled, just VM settings updated due to Cisco requirements for 11.6.)
2) If that MAC not going to be changed then is it OK to upload all new 11 and upgrade 9->11 licenses to that UCCX server before the version switch? I need to make sure I will not lose those new 11th licenses, so the UCCX server will work and operable right after its first boot with the 11.6 version.
