We have a customer bought UCS C210 M2 servers with 10x146GBdrives. It is installed with first 2 drives (Raid 1+0) ESXi and rest 8 drives are in one big RAID5  where we have installed UCNXN and SUB CUCM .What is Cisco recommendation on this ? do we have to separate the drives in to 2 or 3 different RAID 1+0 Logical drives so each UC application/server installed on a separate logical drives. I got little confused with install doc's for each server and SRND please advice.

Look on the UCS DocWiki. You should not change your current setup:

DAS (2 disks RAID1) for VMware + DAS (8 disks RAID5) for UC apps

http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Unified_Computing_System_Hardware

Thank you for your response. I did read this doc I was little confused because in one of the Cisco webinars presenter mentioned about doing separate set of RAID for each UC application may improve the I/O performance so I just want to double check. Thanks again for your help.
