Unity 3.1 and Exchange 2003

I have had mixed comments on this, so I am trying to get a more definitive answer. If I have multiple 3.1.5 and 3.1.6 Unity servers inside an Exchange organization, do I have to upgrade all of the Unity boxes to 4.0.4 before I upgrade to Exchange 2003 or just the partner Exchange server for each Unity box?

You would have to upgrade all the Unity servers because Exchange 2003 Forestprep affects the Schema attributes in AD.

I am in a similar situation. I have 3.0 Unity with exchange 2003. Cisco does not support it from what I have been told numerous times. When you upgrade your unity server to version 4.0 or higher then it is supported. Version 3x with exchange 2003 is not supported from what I have been told.
