Hi,
we are trying to update alternate greeting for multiple users via bulk edit utility. although the output file states the greeting stream file has been replaced, the greeting is still the old one. I replaced the greeting for a single user successfully. Am I missing something here? Is it some kind of cache that has to be updated by a service restart if greetings are replaced by bulk edit utility?
Bulk Edit Utility > Users with Voice Mail > Selct some users > Greetings > Alternate > Greeting Source....
Regards

Hi Sebastian,
I was able to test on a 7.1(5) server with 2 users and the greeting uploaded successfully and played for both users. Make sure that you're also enabling the Alternate Greeting, otherwise it'll still play your existing Standard greeting.
Remember when Alternate Greetings are enabled, they will always override any other greeting until it's turned off.
Hope that helps,
Brad

Hi,
thanks for your replies.
I ran a second update with alternate greeting enabled and new wav file selected (although alternate greeting was enabled before). Still the same old greeting for that user is played via unity media master and via phone.
These are special purpose mailboxes. Beside alternate greeting no other settings or greetings have been set.
The wav-File is ok since it will work when inserted manually for a user via unity media master.
Any ideas what might cause my issue?
I attached a debug log.
Version is 7.1.5.32900-2

Hi Sebastian,
There are quiet a few similar issues where software problem was identified, however I am not able to find a similar match on your version. For your reference, refer to a simliar bug below on other version.
So quiet possible that you are also impacted with this or other similar bug. Hence consider upgrading.
