UnityConnection 7.1.5 and CallPilot VPIM integration

Dear All

I am having an issue of Integrating Unity Connection 7.1.5 and CallPilot through VPIM integration , half of the Integration is working , the CallPilot sending VPIM Vmail messege to the Unity Connection and the Unityconnect Deliver the Message to the right mailbox , Reply to it . the message reaches the CallPilot but produce an alarm and not get delivered to the right mailbox. Configuration on the UC is pretty straight forward and seems to be correct

Does anybody have a Guideline for both CallPilot and Unity connection 7.x VPIM integration ?

any suggestion for anybody worked on Nortel CallPilot before?

Hi,

First, there isn't an official Cisco guide on how to integrated with a Call Pilot.  You mentioned that you can reply to VPIM messages which successfully arrive at the Call Pilot.  What if you create a new VPIM message from UC and send it rather than replying?  Does it still error out on the Call Pilot side?  Or does it only happen for replies?  What is the specific alarm on the Call Pilot side?  It's giving an alarm and then delivering it to what mailbox on the Call Pilot?  We're going to need more detail in order to try and help from the Cisco side.  The first step in troubleshooting this misdelivery (if that's actually what's happening) is to get a Wireshark capture at both UC and Call Pilot ends to confirm that the SMTP data leaving UC matches what's arriving at Call Pilot.  If Call Pilot can tell you what the alarm means, then that'll most likely put you on the right track.
