VG248 and VG224 serial cable compatibility

Hi,

can anyone tell me if the the serial cable on the VG248 can use for VG224 as we are replacing the VG248 analogue vgw. VG248 is not supported on CME.

Thanks for your response. I see it's the same cable but I'm worried about the pinout pairing.

In the pairs for VG224 for instance the first port is 1,26 - ring/tip but for VG248 it's the pinout for first port is 1,26 transmit/receive. Which looks to be different.... we are hoping it will not be a problem to use the serial cable of VG248 rather than have to re-terminate the VG224 serial cable to MDF.

We replaced our VG248's with VG224's and VG310's and used the same cabling with no issues.
