VMO 8.5 and Outlook 2010 icon for voicemails

Does anyone know how to get the old outlook icon back for Voicemails like in old VMO versions?

Is there some registry/etc thing that can be tweaked in outlook to show a different icon?

It's gone ViewMail 8.5(x) in general, not just for Outlook 2010. I have a customer laptop sitting next to me with ViewMail 8.5(6) and Outlook 2003 but no icon.

If the release notes do not make mention of the removal you can try opening a TAC case claiming it's a defect. It will be an uphill battle though.
