I have a UCM and Unity Connection for a voice message, recently some users are receiving a message telling that the IP is compromised, odd thing, the message has been sent from the Directory number itself.

Any advice on this?

Hi there

Are we sure that the message is prompting from the Cisco side. It might be an auto prompt from the sending side and getting recorded in your end. The best way to find out is do a continuous voicemail tests to the affected lines from different lines.

Hope this helps

yes the number registered is the DID sending itself the message, and it is not a human voice.

Sounds like someone is just spoofing your DID, check CDR data in CUCM for that call to see if it arrives from outside.
