voice messages in email using IMAP

I  just want to get some help from you regarding voice messages in email using IMAP, it's can't be open using media player and Itunes.

What is the voicemail server you are using. I believe the voice messages in IMAP should be played in Media Player, but not sure on iTunes.

What is the error you are getting when attempting to play in media player.

What codec are you using to store the messages? If G729 you will need to install G729 on your PC. G711 should play with any media player. You can always install viewmail for outlook (assuming the IMAP connection is from Outlook) and play the mesasge directly within Outlook.
