Found a Security Advisory suggesting an update to mitigate a vulnerability.
My question is, when updating UC products (call manager, Unity, UCCX) is it best to go for the latest version in the same SU or should you try to keep updated to the latest SU available?
Not sure what the recommended or Best Practice may be in this regard.
Thanks

You should always go for the latest SU available for any of the UC products rather than applying the updates on the SU itself. The latest SU by default include more fixes than its predecessor and should be the first choice unless there are known issues/limitations with it.
Note: You should always refer to ReadMe before choosing an update on the existing SU or even when you decide to go for a new SU altogether. Simply hover your mouse on the CCO from where you will download the respective SU or an update for it and that will give you the link to download Release Notes/ReadMe then.
