3rd-patry HP servers for virtualization (blade or rack mounted?)

I have heard from some that for 3rd party servers, Cisco only supports HPs that are blade chassis.  From the Cisco Wiki, it states that blade OR rack mounted work.   Who is right?

A third of the way down in this link it states both would be sufficient as long as it contains the supported hardware (CPU, RAM, etc).
