Aastra IP Tel/IPPABX

currently there is Aastra (formerly Ericsson) system/ Aastra IP PABX deployed at my site. I'm interested on cisco telepresence application. Is it possible for me deploy Cisco telepresence into Aastra without any problem.

Do i need to buy Cisco call manager to makes Cisco TP works ?

Can i makes Cisco TP works without interfering with Aastra system?

You'll need to deploy CUCM (Cisco Call Manager) to have Cisco TelePresence endpoints work.  You'll be able to keep your Aastra IP PBX and have a trunk from the CUCM to enable voice integration.

Not necessarily. If you do not want to invest into the up front cost of installing telepresence infrastructure, you can use Cisco Callway which is hosted telepresence. When using Cisco Callway, you are using hosted video infrastructure so the internal PBX or infrastructure you use does not pertain. Callway is a pay per month service...
