we have been asked to work with a WEB application that, from the end user PC, needs to support both the following:
CUCM GUI remotization (having the CUCM GUI running behind a https proxy);
TMS GUI remotization (having the TMS GUI running behind a https proxy);
"transparent access" (that is to say providing user credentials in a https “post” command towards the CUCM/TMS, i.e. skipping the login form);
the USER PC does not have IP connection to the target TMS, so the flow is:
User PC ------ WEB app ------- CUCM / TMS (Apache proxy)
CUCM ver 11.5 TMS ver 15.3
The https "post" used by the WebApp is the following:
but our client experienced two different behavior:
issued directly (without transit through proxy WEBapp) --> it works but the CUCM directly present the home page, skipping the login form ( i.s. CUCM uses a redirection approach, by means of absolute contest (URL) reference)
User PC ------ WEBapp ------- CUCM
issued through our WEBapp (proxy) --> it does not work and the CUCM returns 501 error
User PC ------ WEBapp ------- CUCM Proxy
1) Does CUCM (and eventually also TMS) work behind a https proxy ?
2) Do you know about any best practice or guide for CUCM (and for TMS) that suggest proper configurations constrains / guidelines for TMS to work behind a proxy? and for remote https proxy invoker?
