Adding customer details / maintaining on Call Manager 11.0

Hi all

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask

One of our clients has asked us to investigate & develop a solution to add and maintain their customer details (name / telephone number) on their Cisco handsets

Being unfamiliar with Cisco Call Manager software / APIs

1) Is this possible?

2) Which is the correct API to use?

Additional information:

  • We are developing in a .Net environment
  • They are using Cisco Call Manager 11.0
  • They are using BE6000 handsets

IANTE on APIs but …

There’s an AXL API on developer.cisco.com for provisioning read/write type operations.

If customer is using LDAP directory sync for end-users, the names will come from the directory.
