Hi Pari,

From Cisco unified Service Monitor,

If this is https and if it works on http,  then you might be running into CSCth45675.

So http will not work on https,  So how should i open this link is there any work around solution. And what is the reason MOS Value showing Unavailable .

Even i can see on Primary Degradation Cause : Packet Loss or Jitter , & Sample Duration : 46 sec But MOS Value : Unavailable

What is the Minimum Sample Duration so that MOS Value can display on sensor reports. So how can we able to see the MOS value,

From CUOM :

Reports > Service Quality History >Cisco 1040 i have search according to the Sensor MAC Address : i can see the history phones which MOS Value is = 4.4  , which i have set  3.0 value so why this reports are generated when MOS Value is 4.4. I have set Critical MOS Threshold below or equal to 3.0

Detection Algorithm ITU G.107 - 1040 Sensor based voice quality
MOS 4.4
Critical MOS Threshold 3.0

Number of suppressed traps   9  ( what is the reasons ? )

**************

For the DN name being blank, can you find out if those calls are to a Voice mail ?

Even call was Cisco Voice Mail Port its getting the information on sensor report but some location DN name are being Blank. so what is the reason ?

So please advice

Looking forward to hearing from ASAP.

Thanks for your cooperation

Regards

Syed

Hi Syed,

For the bug that I had mentioned, once you get the HTTP error, change the https to http on the browser.

For all other issues,

- What version of OM are you running ? Can you send the BUILDID from CUOM Home page > Ciscoworks > Common services > Software Center > Software Update > CUOM.

- For the MOS scores unavailable, are they "Soft Phones" or physical phones.

Hi Ankush,

You might  want to post this question to the Call Manager Forum. If possible you can connect a 1040 sensors to the access switches where these phones are connected to get a report from CUSM and see what is going on.

Hi pari

Many Thanks

Hi Hani,

Hello Pari,

We have several questions:

1.- We are using CUOM 2.3 and are receiving Syslogs from CUCM 6.1 with Route List Exhausted. We are notified from CUOM about this message and others using email, but we want to avoid notifications only for this message. Is there a way to do this?

2.- We have a lot of Media Gateways (routers with PRIs for voice and so on) and want tomonitor only, on PRIs the D Channel, and not each B channel of the PRI. Is there a way to do this easily for all PRIs?

3.- DHCP is not supported in our customer network, and also not allowed. Is there a way to give 1040 sensors permanets IPs?

Thanks

1) To suppress events, try running the suppressevents.bat file. Here are the list of supported events.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_unified_operations_manager/2.3/user/guide/Events.html#wp1227396

2) Are you talking about suppressing events for B channel as well ? Could you please explain more about what you want to monitor on the ISDN ?

3) There is no way you could assign a static IP Address to the 1040's.

Thanks Pari,

1) I will review and try.

2) I know I can tell cuom to not monitor certain interfaces of router, doing router by router interface by interface. Is there a place in cuom, for example, to say "do not monitor any B channel" "do not monitor any ADSL link" os something global like that?

3) It could be an improvement for the future.

Many thanks again
