Attendant Console Standard and Always Use Prime Line

Our issue is that Attendant Console does not seem to honor the Always Use Prime Line setting.

 

We are running CUACS version 11.0.3 on CUCM version 11.5(1)SU3b.

The associated phone is an older 7961 with two lines:

Line 1 is the receptionist main line and line 2 is for the general voice mailbox.

 

After the receptionist checks voicemail by using Line2, subsequent calls from CUAC are made using Line 2.

She can click on Line 1 and it will start using Line 1.

But I'm looking for a way to force CUAC to always use Line 1.

 

I have set Always Use Prime Line to ON.

I didn’t think that setting even applied to the 7900 series phones.

 

The phone itself does not behave this way.

It always uses Line 1 to make calls, even after Line 2 is used.

But CUAC remembers the last line used.

 

Is this expected behavior?

Is there any way to change it?
