Auto Attendant Script

I am trying to make a change to a custom auto attendant script.  I went ot the edit screen and using the dropdown menu selected the .wav file I wanted to use and checked "apply". 

But the auto attendant script did not change and callers hear the old recording.   What am I missing?

Hi Julie,

After making the changes please refresh UCCX application and scrtipt pages to get the impact.

I am sorry, but I don't know what you mean by UCCX application.

Below is a screen shot. I made two changes: I changed the first script

parameter "Change_Announcement" to the Silence.wav. Second, I changed

the last script parameter "Summer_Winter" to Option _summer.wav.

Those are the only two changes made to the auto attendant script. I

clicked the "Apply" icon, but the auto attendant has not changed and still

plays the original wav files.

My issue has not been resolved.  I don't know how to send you the script.

We have only been using this system since January and this is the first

time we have tried to change our script.

The system and terminology is all new to me.  Would you be able to call me

at the telephone number below?

I tried to make my changes to the AA script again today and noticed that when I selected "Apply" I got a error:  Java heap space.

Any idea what this means and how to correct so I can apply the script changes?

Please let us know what version of CUE that you are using,

Also the process to download the script is as follows:

Go to System --> Scripts, then select the desired script and click on download, the script will be downloaded,

Share that script here.

I am not downloading a new script.   I am trying to change two script parameters onmy existing script.   I thought I could acomplish this by browsing to the new wav file for each of the two parameters and then apply the change.   I don't know how to create a new script.

Please check following details:

  • Please find attached screenshot for downloading the existing script.
  • Scripts are present in System -> Scripts and prompts in System -> Prompts.
  • You need to download the existing script and prompts the same way and share with us,
  • We can say something about the error when we see the script.

  • You can reload the CUE module and check if you still face the issue.
  • Attached is the screenshot which shows the way to reload CUE.

I am getting a Java heap space error when I try to apply changes. Do you

know what this means?

Hi Julie,

You need to go to Voice Mail --> Auto Attendant then on the system auto-attdendant,

you need to select the script file that you changed and click on apply.

This will change the default auto-attendant script to the custom one.

Hi Julie,

If you quite sure that the file name Silence.wav already exist in the System --> Prompts.

Could you please check the configuration on CUE router inside Service-Module?

Checking for the script name sahi-4271-updated1.aef then try to find the parameter you would like to change the Silence.wav.

If you found that the file name still be the previous one, please change that part to be new name as you want.
