See the limitations section of the following link which states "Use same codec on incoming and outgoing dial peers when transferring calls. Using different codecs are not supported. IOS will not invoke transcoder for the calls handled by any TCL application."

This is now supported via LTI-based transcoding on the 4000 series ISRs with CME 11.6 and later. See the overview section of the same link.

Hi Brandon,

Thank you for document, so I can't configure the B-ACD with inbound G729?

That is correct. Not unless you have a 4000 series ISR with CME 11.6 or later.

"Prior to this release, it was mandatory that the calls on the SIP trunk had the g711ulaw codec."

Because, I configured the dial-peer to service aa with G729
