Backup CUCM 11.X TFTP is missing

Hi *,

I installed a CUCM 8.6 and Upgrade to 11.X

In Release 11.X i run a Backup and I miss the TFTP Files in the Backup.

I try to find any informations, if in Release 11.X no TFTP Files will be backup anymore but this is not the case.

At the Pub the TFTP Services is started.

In the Overview from CUCM 11.X in the Backup Section of CUCM I don´t see any informations that TFTP Files will be backuped as a seperate point.

What's exactly your question??? your description is not really clear.

You don't see the option to configure a TFTP as backup target???

You cannot backup???

sorry for the bad description.

I can configure the SFTP Server in the DRF.

Click to the Page manually Backup in CUCM.

Start Backup.

At my Laptop I do not see any Files like:

UCM_TFTP.tar

I see the Database File UCM_CCMDB.tar as an example.

In the Webpage for the manually Backup when I look to the options that will be backuped there is no TFTP included anymore.

Have I overseen that the CUCM 11.X will Backup Local TFTP Files in a different way?

In short, the backup mechanism has not changed at all since we moved to the Linux appliance, the same TFTP config is in place in any release, and they work, basically, the same way.

Solution:

Under Services:

Deactived TFTP Service.

Active TFTP Service again.
