Backup voice VMS

                   We have our Unity, CM, and UCCX 8 virtualized on Cisco UCS hardware.  It is also sitting on NetApp storage.  We were told that snapshots were not supported way of backup up the VM servers themselves.  We currently only backup these servers through TFTP backups of the config.. Is there any supported method of backing up the actual VMs?

FYI, I have some customers doing snapshots on UC apps successfully even though technically Cisco including TAC does not support it.
