Hi all,

we have be6000M server which is classic UCSC-C220-M4S. Are we able to do the supported HW upgrade to the be6000H? Add one same type of CPU and RAM?
I'm not able to find any document for HW upgrade of be6000 server.

Thank you very much for any information.
Best Regards.

The 6K are bundled options and are considered to be TRCs, which means that the only configuration that is supported, is the one with which it was shipped and sold.

Any deviations from those, will mean it will lose the TRC status, and will become a UC on UCS spec based deployment.

A 6K can ONLY be considered as such, when it's running on the TRC server.

Hi Jaime,

thank you for response. Is strange, because if you add CPU and RAM to the BE6K-M  you are able to build BE6K-H server with very small difference.
But I understand the B6K is TRC bundle and we are not able to change HW configuration.

Best Regards.
