because it takes a user to type administrator in AD intergrar with CUCM

Hello

We are to integrate CUCM 8.5 with the AD 2003, as demand requires a user with administrator permissions on the AD, I could help tell me why this person is required and if they have documentation where requested this so that my client request with staff administering the AD.

LDAP integration does not require administrator privliges, only the ability to bind, read all user account objects within the search base DN, and the attributes of those accounts.
