Call handler calls not able to transfer to Reception directly

Hi All,

 

Am trying to setup a call handler for our main reception

Greeting :

"Welcome to My Company ,If you know the extension please dial the number or wait for operator assistance"

If some one dial the extension the call is going to extension(Using caller system transfer) ,But how will achieve the second option ,when there is no caller input it should go to reception .

Hello,

To achieve the desired result/call-flow, you will want to edit the Greeting.  This can be done by following the steps below:

Clicking on 'Call Management'

-> 'System Call Handlers'

-> selecting the specified Call Handler

-> select 'Edit Greetings'

-> select the 'Standard Greeting' to modify it

-> in the 'After Greeting' section, select the specific route you want to use to get to reception, i.e. "Call Action" -> "Transfer"
