Call Manager Express issued with upgraded IOS on 2911 router

Hello all. A little help much appreciated getting up to speed with the Cisco SIP handsets and CME.

I've upgraded the IOS on a C2911 from C2900-UNIVERSALK9-M, Version 15.5(3)M to Version 15.7(3)M2 in order to support 8861/8865 phones. ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 15.0(1r)M16, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

I've read a lot of Cisco documentation on this and was of the understanding that the IOS images include CME software. It certainly seems that the version has updated to 12.0 from sh telephony-service (aligned with what it should be according to the IOS CME matrix).

However, when I issue the load ? command the list of supported handsets hasn't changed. I'm therefore unable to specify the firmware that I've installed in the flash for the new handsets.

Can someone please advise whether something has gone wrong with the upgrade or if I'm missing something? Many thanks.

Works in the voice register global config. I assume that SIP phones aren't listed in the telephony section. Thank you.
