CallManager CDR Service Questions

We are trying to understand CDR.

The CDR database holds Call Detail Records and nothing more, is this correct?

Does it hurt anything if you stop the CDR Agent services?

What happens to the CDR records while the service is stopped?

The CDR repository Stores CDR and CMR Records ( = QoS Infos, IP addresses of source and destination aso.)

If the Service is stopped no CDRs are Stored in the DB.
