cannot change domain in cisco unified presence

hi all,

 

i want to change my domain in presence, i already follow the step that wrote in there,

"Default Domain or IM Address Scheme cannot be changed until the following services are stopped on all nodes :
Cisco Presence Engine
Cisco SIP Proxy
Cisco XCP Router
Cisco Sync Agent
Cisco Client Profile Agent"

but still the domain is disable to change.

 

can you all help me, please,

Hi,

 

You need to change domain from CLI as well which requires reboot of server.

set network domain

Are you sure you stopped all of the services on all IMP nodes?

I have done it many times without issues.

That would only be needed if the domain of the server itself needs to change, which is not a requirement for changing Jabber domains.

aman, i will test your suggestion

 

chris, i need to change domain because our microsoft lync is move to another domain, and this impact to our click to call in microsoft lync.

Can u please clarify how Jabber domain is different from Server domain?

it works, thanks,

 

first i set the domain via cli, then i set via gui with stop all services as needed, and not disable anymore and i can change the domain.
