Cannot install ViewMail 9.0.2 on Win7 x64 with 32bit Office

Works: Win7-32bit OS with 32bit Office 2013

Works: Win7-64bit OS with 64bit Office 2013

Does not work: Win7-64bit OS with 32bit Office 2013

The error we’re getting is “No Supported Version of Microsoft Outlook was found”

I tested this again and it worked with the 32 bit version of ViewMail with 32 Bit Office 2013 on 64 Bit Win7. The 64 bit Version of ViewMail failed as described above.

I believe eveyone has that issue.  Below it the work around we got from TAC last year.  I was just looking out here in case someone had a real fix.

1. Start, Run, type in REGEDIT then press enter
2. In the Registry, drill down to HKLM, then Software, then Microsoft, Office, then 15.0, then Outlook, then InstallRoot, then Path
3. Should look like this: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\InstallRoot\Path
4. If any of these are missing they must be added, i.e. if the path ends at Office; NOTE: case is sensitive and must be entered as it is shown.
   1. right Click Office and select NEW KEY
   2. name it 15.0
   3. right click 15.0 and select NEW KEY
   4. name it Outlook
   5. continue this until you have added all the way to InstallRoot
   6. right click on InstallRoot and select NEW STRING VALUE
   7. right click on Path (now on right side of screen) and Select Modify
   8. in the Value Data box type this path: “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\” without the quotes

close the registry and continue with install
