Cisco 7942 phone status message it is showing as DNS Timeout CiscoCM1.
TFTP Error.
No CTL installed.
I have tried reset and restart phone using CME router , no luck.
I did reconfiguration ephone-dn and ephone but same result.
Network connectivity is perfect.
Please advise me on this

Reset and Restart from CM works only if the phone is registered in CM.
How you are entering TFTP address to IP Phones?
Option 66 or Manual.
If its DNS timeout try using IP address.

I did reset and restart from CM , it doesnt work out.
TFTP address has been entered using DHCP option 50 i think so

Option 50 is for requesting IP address.
Give me the initial configuration you done in IP Phone.

Only one phone having this problem but rest phone works normal.

Was this phone working before?
Did you try a factory reset? This is holding down the # key during bootup and then pressing 123456789*0# when the line buttons flash.

DHCP Option 150, not 50, no?

Yes 150. Cisco recommends 150 rather than 66 as 150 supports mutilple addresses.
