Cisco Attendant Console Business Edition

Hello Folks.

Our client has raised the following question:

When Operator performs Blind Transfer, the calling number of the CTI device appears. He would like it suppressed.

It would be preferable for him to show only the caller-name not the number.

Is this even possible?

The first option is possible to pass the original calling number by changing the following registry setting on the users PC:

    1. a.          Windows XP: HKEY Local Machine>Software>Arc Solutions>Call Connect>Operator>Defaults and change the registry key called Direct Transfers to ALL
    2. b.          Windows 7: HKEY Local Machine>Software>WOW64>Arc Solutions>Call Connect>Operator>Defaults and change the registry key called Direct Transfers to ALL

As for the caller number to be supressed, I am not sure on that one.  Might be able to route it through a Xlation Pattern but that only works for the next first hop. After that the number will appear again.

Thanks,

Ryan
