Cisco CAD 10.5 Not Installing

Matthew Martin

Hello All,

We upgraded Cisco UCCX last night (*8.5 --to--> 10.6) and went through the auto-upgrade for cad for 99% of our Agents, and they most all went just fine. The CAD version is 10.5...

However, we had 2 Agents who when attempting to upgrade got an error during the old version uninstall and it ended up bailing-out of the installation. But, when we checked Add/Remove Programs CAD was no longer there, so it seemed to uninstall.

So we attempted to install CAD manually and it goes through the entire installation process, and it even says it completed successfully. But, after the installation completed "Successfully" CAD was not showing in Start > All Programs, nor was it found in "C:\Program Files". So we re-attempted the installation a few more times with the exact same result: Says completed successfully, but no program is found on the PC afterwards.

We also tried rebooting the machine and then trying to install, but the same result continues to happen.

PC: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with 4-6 GB RAM and 100+ GB Hard Drive Free

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestion, it would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in Advance,
Matt

Matt, can you try deleting the CAD folder from below registry keys and then try:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Calabrio >> CAD
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> Software >> Wow6432Node >> Calabrio >> CAD
