Hello,

I have a problem with CUCM and IP Phones Cisco. When a IP phone Cisco has a missed call, and the user tries to redial that missed call number, the user cannot call the missed call number, but he calls the last number user has called from this IP Phone.

Can anyone help us with this issue ?

We are using CUCM 12.5.

Regards

Are you using any access code for dialing outside like  ex:- 9 or 0 before outside calls?

In such case u need add the access code when dialing from missed calls. this can be done by translation .

you can go trough below document but its pretty old one.

No, I don't use access code for dialing outside.

Are you saying that it calls a completely unrelated number from the last called list instead of the number in the missed call list? If so you’re best bet is TAC as it would likely be a defect in the phone firmware.

When user try to redial the missed call, he calls the last number he called before he received the missed call

Turn to TAC to get their help to look at this.

Follow up question. How exactly does the user initiate the call to the missed call number? Is it by selecting the soft key “Call” or “Redial”?

Hi,

Thanks for replying @Roger Kallberg  .The user initiate the call by selecting the redial soft key.

Thanks

That’s your problem. The redial soft key will redial the last dialed number, not the last number in the missed call list. For this you’d need to use the dial soft key when you marked the number in the missed call list.
