Cisco IP Communicator and Mitel telephony system

We would like to setup the Cisco IP Communicator with a Mitel telephony system.  The Mitel system does support standard SIP, could this work?  If so, what components are involved?

Hello Tony,

There is an option in to install CIPC to default as a SIP device.  You should be able to find that in the Administration Guide to try that out.

We test CIPC running with CUCM, so have not done any testing specifically with Mitel phones at Cisco.
