Cisco IP Communicator de-register issue

hi folks,

Am facing an issue where i have 2 systems on which CIPC is installed. When A calls B, both extension de-register when ANSWERED and re-registers within a second.

On system McAfee AV is installed. Its a closed environment so ports are opened at firewall as well.

Anyone who have idea or faced issue similiar please share input.

I haven't seen this behavior however if you are using Wifi or Mcfee then it could be an issue.

You can try to run a continuous ping from your system to the CUCM subscriber to which both phones are register and make a call.

Check Phone logs via web access and also check if RTMT syslog gives you any reason code .

Same here, I have duplicate config in my lab and never came-up with such issue. Its surprising to me!

I checked by disabling McAfee on both systems. There are no logs suspecting of blocking packets or any errors.

For RTMT, unable to install on closed network. It gives JV memory error. Installed JRE and updated java runtime though no luck. Am checking phone weblogs and update you.
