Cisco Jabber users from IMP server "A" cant see user from server "B"

Hi,

we have a problem at one customer that Cisco Jabber users from server "A" can`t see (online status, can`t chat...) users from server "B" and also users connected to server "B" can`t see users from server "A".

CUCM is version 10.5.2.13900-12

IMP is version 10.5.2.22900-2

User Assignment Mode for Presence Server is set to "Balanced" so the users are shared to both IMP servers.

Users which are connected to server "A" can see / chat with users from server "A" but can`t see or chat with users from server "B".

I also did these steps but didn`t resolve the problem:

- Deactivated and activated again the HA in the Presence Redundancy Group at CUCM

- Rebootet both IMP servers

- Deactivated and activated the Home Cluster at all end users

- Status in IMP is OK

- Database replication in IMP is OK (2 good)

- System troubleshooter in IMP is OK

At the moment to have a work arround I set User Assignment Mode for Presence Server to "Active-Standby" and deactivated and activated the Home Cluster at all end users. So all the users are now at server "A".

What could be the problem that users from server "A" in balanced mode can`t  see users from server "B"?

Hi Michael,

In order to fix this issue, please go to IMP GUI>>Systems>>Service Parameter Configuration>>Select each node of IMP one by one>>Select Cisco XCP router service>>Routing Communication Type>>Set this to "Router to Router".

Make this change off business hours.
