Cisco PCP showtech log retention

Hi,

We currently use Prime Collaboration Provisionig v11.6 and users use Selfcare to manage their forwarding.

I need to trace user activities on Selfcare. I find information in logs generated in 'Logging and showtech' but it seems to be limited in time.

How long do the log are kept on the server ? It's seem to be 5 days

Is it configurable ? Send them to syslog server ?

Hi. Log files retention is based on size, not on time. Please refer to the Provisioning Guide for more details:

The log files are backed up every hour, or when they reach their maximum log size limit. The default size limit is 20 Mb (see Changing the Maximum Log File Size ). The files are saved in the format sep.log.date stamp timestamp.
The log files are deleted from the Prime Collaboration Provisioning server when their size exceeds 5000 MB or the number of log files in the logs folder exceeds 500. If you want to change these levels, see Changing the Log Purging Level.
