What kind of phones?

Except for CP-79XX, all other phones (as far as I'm aware) now support EnergyWise level 1 (full standby).   This feature is enabled on your CUCM server.

If you have CP-79XX, then you can't use EnergyWise level 1 option because it will shut down the component.  There is no roadmap to allow the CP-79XX because the BU is trying to "convince" users to go for the newer models.

Jose,

Starting in Prime Collaboration 10.0, the Provisioning component will allow you to set the EnergyWise settings on any phone that supports it. This can be done during initial provisioning or if you select Change at a later time. Additionally the Service Template feature in 10.0 will let you define the schedule within the endpoint template itself.

So let's say you want to engage EnergyWise settings on all 9971 phones in the NY office.  You would select the Service template in PCP for the 9971 phone and set the EnergyWise settings. When you later provision 9971 phones in the NY area, they will automatically be given the EnergyWise settings.

You can also batch in phones with the EnergyWise settings or batch change the settings on existing phones. One last choice is that you can clone the settings from an existing phone that has EnergyWise already setup into a service template and use that template to provision other same type phones.

Attachment shows the display and Energywise settings.
