Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance _ Web login

Peter Anders

I have recently deployed Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance standard within our Vmware environment with the view to evaluate and deploy into production.

I have successfully deployed within the environment and can log into the appliance via SSH via the root, admin and globaladmin account however when I try to login through the Web Gui with the above accounts, i am getting the " invalid username or password" error.

Can anyone provide guidance please

Peter

Have you found out how to fix this issue? I am having the same problem with PC Assurance.

@Peter

Only the globaladmin account will work to login to the GUI (or any local and AD users you create later). At this point, you may need to reset your globaladmin password via root user in SSH session. You can follow these steps to reset the globaladmin user.

Log in as a root user.

Navigate to /opt/emms/emsam/bin/

Execute the following command, ./resetGlobalAdminPassword.sh

Enter a new password for the globaladmin and also confirm the new password.

Password Rules for root user and globaladmin
Must contain at least one of each - lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number, and
special characters ( !@#$*,.)
No character in the password be repeated more than three consecutive times.
Cannot contain non-ASCII characters- , %, +, & and space.
Cannot be cisco or ocsic or any variant obtained by changing the capitalization of letters
therein, or by substituting 1,! or | for i, and/or substituting 0 for o and/or
substituting $ for s.
Cannot be same as the username, and not be the username reversed.
Length must be between eight and 80 characters.
Cannot end with these characters: *, ; or #
