Cisco Prime PCD - Problem migrating from cucm 8.0.3.20000-2 to 11.5

We are trying to migrate a cluster of CUCM 8.0.3.20000-2 running on two MCS servers to 11.5 on new cisco servers running vmware.
We discovered the cluster and the ESXi servers and created a migration task.

After we start it it runs for some time and then it fails with this in the task log:

ERROR The selected server version was not found (or is not supported). Jul 17, 2017 17:26 CEST
ERROR Failed to create platformConfig.xml file for node 86_192.168.100.10.flp.Please check the afg library logs from PCD. Jul 17, 2017 17:26 CEST
ERROR Export job for node cucm.ttt.local failed.
ERROR 1 nodes(s) in Export task action ID #87 failed: cucm.ttt.local

The PCD is version 11.5.3.10000-14
Old cluster: 8.0.3.20000-2
New iso: Bootable_UCSInstall_UCOS_11.5.1.12900-21.sgn.iso

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but according to the supported versions table, you can only migrate to 10.5 or 11.0

migration to CUCM 11.X cluster is supported. I suppose this includes 11.5.1?

Yes, I would assume so. 

I think the below would be relevant. Otherwise, I would call TAC support. You should have that with the pcd contract.

Suggest opening TAC case since the link below for PCD 11.5(3)  says migration 11.x or u can give try for 11.0.1.23900-5

As per the release notes for PCD 11.5(1), migration to 11.0(1) is supported and 11.5 is not listed. Also in the PCD release notes for 11.5(3), there are no updates to this mentioned.

So as Aman mentioned you can try migrating to 11.0.

sorry I just checked the release notes for PCD version 11.5(2) where the update has been mentioned. So migration to 11.5 should be supported with PCD version 11.5(3).

There is also PCD version 11.6.1 and we will also try with this version.

I installed a new 8.0.3 publisher in a lab environment and tried with PCD 11.6.1.

Tried with both CUCM 11.0 and 11.5.

Got the exact same error as in the production environment.

Is it possible that version 8.0.3 is not supported for this?

In the documentation, it says supported..

I would say you have two options at this point 

A- Call TAC

B- Attempt different versions for the from and to cucm's. Like 8.0.3 -> 11.0 or 9.0.1 -> 11.5 and try to find a pattern

Tried with a new CUCM 9.1 to CUCM 11 and PCD 11.6.1.

Again the same error.

It does not go pass the first step of exporting the configuration on the source node. Is there something special that needs to be done on the source node before the migration?

What could I be doing wrong? Are there some more detailed logs on the PCD?

Is there a way to get more detailed error logs from the PCD then only those 3 lines?
