Cisco Unity Connection with Security groups.

Hi Folks,

Does anyone has tried previously syncing security groups with unity connection ?

I have configured the groups and AD is showing as connected and i performed sync multiple times already.

But when i try to import users from AD it says "0 users found".

I read about another link on the forum for similar thing but with CUCM, however even trying the filter mentioned it doesn't imports any users.

Important here is in CUCM when you perform LDAP sync there is an option for "users and group" but i didn't see that in unity connection on LDAP directory configuration. So i am not sure if the person tried the things in the thread will work for me.

Any idea's to import users from security groups  ??

Because CUCM really syncs those for IM&P/Jabber usage, I don't believe this works with CUC the same way.

You would need to manually create your distribution groups in CUC
