Cisco unity system integrate with google apps for voice mail

Is there a way to get our Cisco Unity system to send the .wav attachments for voicemails to Gmail accounts?

Unity Connection allows you to deliver embedded HTML notifications for a new voice message via SMTP to the end users. The HTML notifications on the computer support both Web email clients(such as Google Mail or Yahoo Mail) and desktop email clients (for example, Microsoft Outlook and IBM Lotus Notes). However, the HTML notifications on the mobile support only Web email clients.

If we can do this integration, we don't need Jabber or Esna.

hi team,

just incase if anyone has the same issue,this below solution might help.

 unity connection smart host  -no TLS or authentication supported

So you typically need to set google apps to allow relay based on IP and make sure TLS is set to not required

Obviously if you have NAT / PAT then it would be preferable to have a static translation for Unity cxn. This way you would not allow every host in your network to relay.

Does this method work? Using smtp-relay.google.com in place of smarthost?

didnt try,instead opted Esna.
