Client Matter Code on CUCM Express

Hello all,

Please, help me or give me a light about this matter!

My situation are:

I have a client that wants to implement Client Matter Codes for 20 phones. These phones are Cisco 7911 model and they're using SCCP protocol.

I already have searched here on forum about this subject and I didn't understand it very well. (The link is this: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11477321/client-matter-codes-cme).

On the Cisco page says it that no configuration is required,so how I made this to work?

CME Version: 7.1

IOS Version: 15.0.(1)M4

Router: 2921/K9

The configuration is as follows:

telephony-service
no auto-reg-ephone
authentication credential secretname passwrd
max-ephones 100
max-dn 100
ip source-address 172.77.31.1 port 2000
timeouts interdigit 3
timeouts busy 20
timeouts ringing 60
system message <companyname>
cnf-file location flash:
user-locale U1 PT
network-locale U1
time-zone 17
time-format 24
date-format dd-mm-yy
keepalive 45
max-conferences 8 gain -6

web admin system name <name> secret 5 $1$ZhXh$r0Ma2bIFizYSgjdg245K5.

transfer-system full-consult
secondary-dialtone 0

mac-address 0027.13AE.27C5
ephone-template 1
max-calls-per-button 2

How is this supposed to work if when I started the call, obligatorily he doesn't ask me to enter the codes and then send the call? I want the CMC to work exactly as the CUCM configuration. Is that possible?

If necessary I have a .txt file from the router's show run.

FYI, this is not CMC, this is FAC in CME

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeadm/cmefac.html

And I don't think you understand how this works in CUCM based on what you're saying you're trying to do/emulate.

You NEVER get prompted for any code in CUCM BEFORE you try to place the call.

You dial the digits, and it's only when you match a RP with FAC/CMC enabled, that you get prompted to input them.

If you're looking for a solution that needs you to dial a code, BEFORE placing the call, you'll need to look at 3rd party options. Neither CUCM nor CME provide that.

Thank you for your reply Jaime Valencia.

I do not want to dial the code before the call, I want after to dial the digits, just like the CUCM does. How I configure that to properly work? Dialing the digits and then the code.
