Please, help me or give me a light about this matter!
My situation are:
I have a client that wants to implement Client Matter Codes for 20 phones. These phones are Cisco 7911 model and they're using SCCP protocol.
I already have searched here on forum about this subject and I didn't understand it very well. (The link is this: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11477321/client-matter-codes-cme).
On the Cisco page says it that no configuration is required,so how I made this to work?
CME Version: 7.1
IOS Version: 15.0.(1)M4
The configuration is as follows:
authentication credential secretname passwrd
ip source-address 22.214.171.124 port 2000
timeouts interdigit 3
timeouts busy 20
timeouts ringing 60
system message <companyname>
cnf-file location flash:
user-locale U1 PT
max-conferences 8 gain -6
web admin system name <name> secret 5 $1$ZhXh$r0Ma2bIFizYSgjdg245K5.
create cnf-files version-stamp 7960 Sep 18 2012 17:01:06
softkeys alerting Acct Endcall
softkeys connected Acct Hold Endcall Confrn Trnsfer
ephone-dn 25 dual-line
corlist incoming telEmergencia
How is this supposed to work if when I started the call, obligatorily he doesn't ask me to enter the codes and then send the call? I want the CMC to work exactly as the CUCM configuration. Is that possible?
If necessary I have a .txt file from the router's show run.
Solved! Go to Solution.
FYI, this is not CMC, this is FAC in CME
And I don't think you understand how this works in CUCM based on what you're saying you're trying to do/emulate.
You NEVER get prompted for any code in CUCM BEFORE you try to place the call.
You dial the digits, and it's only when you match a RP with FAC/CMC enabled, that you get prompted to input them.
If you're looking for a solution that needs you to dial a code, BEFORE placing the call, you'll need to look at 3rd party options. Neither CUCM nor CME provide that.
