Collaboration Edge - External SRV Records not resolving

Network Admin

I am in a testing environment. I am testing Collaboration Edge with Expressway Edge and Expressway Core.

Please find the attached Screen Shot

 _collab-edge._tls.company.com is not resolving while expe.company.com and company.com is resolving.

What could be the issue ?

nslookup (& dig) by default don't lookup SRV records. You have to add an extra parameter to specifically lookup SRV records:

$ nslookup -type=SRV _collab-edge._tls.example.com

or

$ dig _collab-edge._tls.example.com SRV

GTG

It seems you can only resolve hosts, ask godaddy if there's something else you need to have those SRVs working.

@ Gordon Ross

You Were right. I was missing the right parameters for lookup command.

It was showing up with below command that you mentioned.

$ nslookup -type=SRV _collab-edge._tls.example.com

Thanks Gordon Ross  :)
