Conference Bridges/DSPs

Hey Guys,

We are looking at a customer that is converting to VoIP.  They will have about 7K phones with about 14 PRIs.  My first question is there a better way to set up a bunch of conference bridges besides loading up gateways with a bunch of DSPs?  My second question is where I can find a better DSP calculator that I can specify number of conference bridges and PRIs and is updated with the new 2900 and 3900 series routers?  Does anyone have a custom excel sheet I can use?  Any help/insight in this would be great.

I'm not familiar with non-IOS DSP-based conf solutions, so I can't comment on that.

The 2900/3900 ISR G2 DSP calculator is at:

http://zed.cisco.com/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=323102

The "TDM Services" page is where you put in your PRIs, then press "Next" and the following page will allow you to put in Confs and Xcoding sessions.

And no, there isn't a XLS that I'm aware of as the rules as rather complicated and a flat XLS may work to some extent for the PVDM2s, but is not sufficient for the PVDM3 rules.
