CP-8841 Abbreviated Dialing

Is the Abbreviated Dialing feature available on the CP-8841 telephone?  I added the feature to a softkey template and the speed dial button shows up when I go off hook but my entries don't show up when I press it.  I just get an empty block on the screen.  Call Manager version is 11.5.1.12900-21 and Phone Load is sip88xx.12-7-1-0001-393.

 Make sure that you done all required  configuration.

•  Log in Cisco Unified Communications Administration Page

To Display the Phone Configuration window, choose Device > Phone. Enter your search criteria and click Find.

• Choose the phone/device for which you want to configure speed-dial buttons.

• From the Phone Configuration window, choose Add/Update Speed Dials from the Related Links drop-down list box at the top of the window and click Go.

The Speed Dial and Abbreviated Dial Configuration window displays for this phone.

• : Configure the Speed Dial (Abbreviated Dial) numbers and the display label

 

•  To apply the changes, click Save.

•  Reset the phone for the changes to take effect
