hi there
I´m trying to create new OS accounts, I already have my OS account when our CUCM was first installed, ( it works fine), but I´m following the steps to create new accounts.
admin: set account name XXXXX
Privilege levels are:
Ordinary - 0
Advanced - 1
Please enter Privilege level :1
Please enter the password:XXXXXXX
Re-Enter the password:XXXXXXX
Account succesfuly created
but when trying to log in into the OS page in cucm with the new accounts, it tells me log on Failed - Invalid user ID or password.
So.....
-what am I doing wrong here?
- Do I have to wait a certain time?
-Do database must sync or something.
Thanks very much for your help.

Hi,
When you create a new account, the CLI will display below message:
Account successfully created. This user must login to the CLI and update the password before they can login to OS Administration.
As you can see the highlighted part, first you must use CLI to change the password and then you will be able to login to OS Administration.
