Creating a list of IP end points and displaying their status

We are running CUCM 8.6.2 in a virtualized environment.

Is it possible to create a list of ip endpoints ( read iIP phones) and their status? Looking for a CSV file that can be reviewed and action taken on unknown and or unregistered devices. It's fine if registered devices are included as well.

I've investigated Devices->phones as well as bulk update tools but haven't had any luck. Would like a solution to be simply repeatable to perform this action to be done with some schedule of regularity.

Thanks in advance of any thoughts on this post.

Hi,

It would help if you could provide a better idea of what endpoint information you are looking for, or what you need the information for.

However, I do recommend you have a look at PhoneView from UnifiedFX it is a very powerful and flexible Endpoint Management Solution that should cover your immediate requirement as well as a bunch of other capabilities.

You can use PhoneView for FREE for up to 50 phones, to ideal for testing and lab environments, if you need to try with more than 50 phones you can request a trial here:

The following is a list of the information gathered by PhoneView for each IP Phone

Hi,

You can run the following command in the CLI/SSH session to the CUCM server to get the list of phones and their status.

  • show risdb query phone

I use excel to import the data from the web...

This has worked for me many times in the past.
